As a creative 10th grader situated in my intrapersonal world, I am someone distant to mediocrity and all for excellence. For as long as I can remember, I was always an artist with creative talent, high standards, and a plan for everything. Once I had realized my potential in the creative area, I’ve done as much as I can to develop myself in terms of my drawing and writing skills, along with my academics and time management skills. I have previously volunteered as a teacher’s assistant in the CTFC Weekend School Program, Youth Climate Corps, and am currently volunteering for the Youth in Foods Systems blog writing team. Although social issues haven’t been my primary area of interest, I firmly believe in equality above anything else and am willing to work towards a more equitable society. To me, the OK Youth! values every individual’s efforts equally, including my own, and I’m hoping to continue being a part of the causes it advocates for.
