OK YOUTH!
We Empower Youth to Make Difference
We are a Toronto-based, grassroots group dedicated to empowering girls and young women from equity-deserving backgrounds (immigrants, newcomers, refugees, youth from racialized communities) in North York, with a focus on the Finch West community. Through fun and engaging projects, we combine social awareness campaigns with personal development initiatives. Our programs focus on advocacy, empathy, and leadership, equipping youth with the skills and confidence to become changemakers in their lives and communities.

Our Mission

Championing Social Change
Through Social Awareness Campaigns, we tackle real-world issues that matter to young women, providing a platform to find their voices, be creative, and develop advocacy skills.

Equity for Success
Through culturally-sensitive programming, we equip young women with the tools to thrive in Canada’s diverse environment, fostering leadership, confidence, and community for future success.

Building Networks
We create a supportive network of peers and mentors you can depend on, but also equip young women with the skills to independently build their future connections and resources.

STEM Voices of Tomorrow
On the summer of 2024, we launched our very first City of Toronto-funded project, STEM Voices of Tomorrow! We engaged middle-school girls from underserved communities in North York in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) through college workshops and podcast interviews with women professionals working in STEM fields.
